FLCN/CCP17 FISH Probe Kit - 10 tests

The FLCN/CCP17 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human FLCN gene located on chromosome band 17p11.2, along with the number of chromosome 17 copies per cell.* Abnormal expression of the FLCN gene – also known as BHD or FLCL – has been found in sporadic kidney carcinoma and other tumor types and conditions.

The probe is labeled with CytoOrange and CytoGreen. CytoOrange is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 551 nm and emission peak at 575 nm, giving it an orange fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter; CytoGreen has an excitation peak at 495 nm and emission peak at 518 nm, giving it a green fluorescent signal with an appropriate filter.
