Traditional method in pre-treatment of FFPE tissue sample uses xylene, which is highly toxic and carcinogenic . CatchGenes FFPE Tissue DNA Kit offers a safer and optimised xylene-free method for DNA purification from FFPE tissue. The Buffer DFTL and DFL is able to lyse FFPE tissue efficiently, and eventually minimise vortex steps to prevent fragmentation and preserve high integrity of long DNA.
