Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid cancer in infancy and childhood. It is a neuroendocrine tumor, arising from any neural crest element of the sympathetic nervous system. The incidence of Neuro-blastoma is about 1 per 100,000 infants. Anti-Neuroblastoma is a monoclonal antibody produced using human Neuroblastoma tissue as a source of antigen. It recognizes an uncharacterized 57 kDa molecule. It is useful in identifying Neuroblastoma (99% (+)) and Desmoplastic Small Round-Cell Tumors (50% (+)). A small percentage of Ewing’s Sarcoma (20%) and Rhabdomyosarcomas (20%) stain positive with this antibody.
Available options include prediluted (3ml, 7 ml, 15ml), concentrate (0.1 ml, 0.5ml, 1ml) and 5+ control slides.
