The RealStar® EBV PCR Kit 1.0 and RealStar® EBV PCR Kit 2.0 are in vitro diagnostic tests, based on real-time PCR technology, for the detection and quantification of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) specific DNA. These test systems, were developed and validated to be use with various real-time PCR instruments.

- Ready to use Kit including internal Control and Quantification Standards
- CE-IVD marked in vitro Diagnostic Test
Dilution series of EBV specific DNA, ranging from 100 to 107 copies/µl, detected in the FAM detection channel [A]. The Internal Control is detected in the JOE detection channel [B].

Alternative nucleic acid extraction systems and kits might also be appropriate. The suitability of the nucleic acid extraction procedure for use with RealStar® EBV PCR Kit 1.0 and 2.0 has to be validated by the user.
